I HEREBY NOTIFY for general information, that by virtue of the authority vested in the Superintendent by the “Auckland Waste Lands Act, 1858,” I have, with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, appointed
Lt.-Col. STEPHEN PONSONBY PEACOCKE, M.P.C.,
to be Waste Land Commissioner for the Province of Auckland.
