NOTICE is hereby given that all persons claiming a right to vote at the election of a Board of Trustees for the Paparoa District, under the “Highways Act, 1862,” are to send in their claims to Mr. Thomas Walker Wilson, on or before the 15th day of February next, and that such claim must be in the statutory form, which can be obtained on application to Mr. Wilson.

Under and in pursuance of the powers vested in me as the Commissioner appointed by His Excellency the Governor to carry out the Regulations for the Sale of Lands taken for Settlement under the New Zealand Settlements Act, 1863, in the Province of Auckland, I, Frederick Whitaker, do hereby notify that the LANDS specified in the schedule hereunder written will be put up for SALE by AUCTION, in accordance with the said regulations, at the Waste Lands Office, at Auckland, at noon on MONDAY, the 4th February, 1867.

HEREBY notify for general information, that a Writ, issued by me on the fourteenth day of November, 1866, for the election of a Member of the Provincial Council for the Electoral District of Marsden, has been returned with an endorsement thereon as follows:

“I, Harcourt R. Aubrey, the Returning Officer for the Electoral District of Marsden, do hereby declare that, in pursuance of the writ to me directed, bearing date the fourteenth day of November, 1866, the undermentioned Candidate is duly elected a Member of the Provincial Council of the Province of Auckland for the said District.”
