PROCLAMATION.

By FREDERICK WHITAKER, Esquire,
Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.

WHEREAS by Proclamation issued under the hand of Robert Graham, Esq., and dated the 5th day of August, 1863, he did proclaim and declare that all that block of land, known as Pakiri, situated North of the Water shed line of the range of mountains from Paekauri to Tamahunga and westward of the Huipapa District estimated to contain 20,000 acres, to be reserved and set apart for certain Immigrants expected to arrive from the United Kingdom. The said Immigrants have since duly arrived and exercised their land orders.

Now, therefore, pursuant to the authority vested in me in that behalf, I, the Superintendent of the Province of Auckland, do hereby revoke the said Proclamation, so far as the same relates to the unselected portions of the said Block.

Given under my hand at Auckland, this nineteenth day of February, One thousand eight hundred and sixty-seven.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Auckland, 20th February, 1867.

I HEREBY notify that the Chairman of the Annual Meeting of the Electors of the "Lake" District, North Shore, has, in accordance with the provisions of the "Highways Act, 1862," presented to me, in writing, the names of the undermentioned gentlemen, elected Highway Trustees for the District:—

  • MINFARY, Benjamin
  • O’NEIL, Allan
  • SHEA, Michael
  • VAUGHAN, George

TENDERS FOR FERRY SERVICE AT AWITU.

Superintendent’s Office,
Auckland, 27th February, 1867.

TENDERS will be received at this office until noon of Wednesday, the 20th March next, for the performance of the Ferry Service at Awitu, from 1st April till 31st December, 1867.

A specification of the conditions of the service may be seen on application at this office.

Tenders to be endorsed, "Tenders for Awitu Ferry Service."
