PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

By Daniel Pollen, Esq.,
Deputy Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.

PURSUANT to the powers vested in the Superintendent by the second clause of the “Highways Act, 1862,” I do hereby declare that the lands comprised within the several boundaries hereunder described, shall be a district under the said Act, and that such district shall be known by the name thereto prefixed, that is to say,—

FLAG STAFF DISTRICT, NORTH SHORE.

All those lands bounded on the North by the Northern boundaries of allotments Nos. 1, 2, and 3 of the Parish of Takapuna; on the East by the Sea to the North Head; on the South by the Waitemata River, and on the West by Shoal Bay, including all roads traversing the lands within the aforementioned boundaries.

this fifth day of July, One thousand eight hundred and sixty-six.

HEREBY notify that the Chairman of the Annual Meeting of the Electors of the Howick Township District has, in accordance with the provisions of the “Highways Act, 1862,” presented to me, in writing, the names of the undermentioned gentlemen, elected Highway Trustees for that District:—

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Deputy Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.

UNDER and in pursuance of the powers vested in the Superintendent in that behalf by the “Impounding Act, 1856,” of the Local Legislature of the Province of Auckland, I hereby appoint those premises situated at Raglan, on a public Road, at the Junction of West-street and Green-street, to be and be used as a Public Pound for the purposes of the said Act.
