PROVINCE OF AUCKLAND.

ACTS LEFT TO THEIR OPERATION.

The following Acts passed by the Provincial Council, and assented to by the Superintendent, on behalf of the Governor: viz.—

"The Turnpike Act, 1866."
"The Rural Police Act, 1866."
"The Prevention of Fire Act, 1866."
"The Distillation Prohibition Amendment Act, 1866."
"The Tamaki Bridge Act Amendment Act, 1866."
"The Auckland Municipal Police Act, 1866."
"The Slaughter-house Act, 1866."
"The Weeds and Watercourses Act, 1866."
"The Waikato Appropriation Act, 1866."
"The Superintendent’s Increase of Salary Act, 1866."

having been laid before the Governor, His Excellency has been pleased to leave the same to their operation.

UNDER and in pursuance of the powers vested in me in that behalf by the "Impounding Act, 1856," of the Local Legislature of the Province of Auckland, I hereby appoint

Those premises situate at the Monmouth Redoubt, Tauranga,

to be and be used as a Public Pound for the purposes of the said Act.

Given under my hand at Auckland, this eighth day of May, in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-six.
