Maps.

For pieces of land of 5 acres and under maps to be on a scale of 4 chains to 1 inch.

For pieces of land of upwards of 5 acres maps to be on a scale of 10 chains to 1 inch.

The block of land surveyed to be indicated on the plan by a pink tint.

The boundary lines to be drawn in black, and their linkage denoted in black.

Traverse and other construction lines to be drawn in red.

The natural features within the survey, such as woods, swamps, hills, and paths to be drawn; and the name of every stream, creek, or harbour within the survey to be shown.

Plans to be on mounted drawing paper.

NOTICE is hereby given that a sitting of the Compensation Court will be holden at the Office in Princes-street in Auckland, on Friday, the 12th of May to investigate certain claims for compensation on account of the taking of the Tuakau and Pokeno Blocks of Land under the “New Zealand Settlements Act 1863.”

UNDER the authority of the New Zealand Settlements Act 1863, I hereby order that the business of the Compensation Court shall be conducted, as nearly as circumstances will admit, in the same manner and subject to the same rules as provided with respect to the performance of the duties of Justice of the Peace by Act of the Imperial Parliament 11 and 12 Vic : Cap : 43.

TENDERS FOR HOSPITAL AND ASYLUM CLOTHING.

Superintendent’s Office,
Auckland, 13th April, 1865.

TENDERS will be received at this Office until Noon of Monday, 24th April inst., from persons desirous of furnishing the undermentioned articles for the Provincial Hospital and Lunatic Asylum.

Tenders will be received either for the whole of the articles or a portion thereof.

Samples of each article of Bedding and Clothing to accompany the Tenders.

Particular information may be obtained from the Provincial Surgeon.

Tenders to be endorsed, “Tenders for Hospital and Asylum Clothing,” &c.
