THE Commissioners for the erection of Public Buildings invite Tenders for the Erection of a Supreme Court House and Offices, at Auckland, from the Designs and under the Superintendence of the Architect, Edward Rumsey, Esq.
The Buildings is to be of Brick, with Stone Dressings and Details, of Two Stories, and 130 feet long by 96 feet broad.
The Working Drawings and Specification may be seen on application at the office of the Commissioners, General Government Buildings, Princes-street, Auckland, on and after the 1st of March; and at the offices of the Provincial Government, Dunedin, on and after the 17th of March; and at the office of the Public Works Department, at Melbourne, on and after the 25th of March.
The Tenders are to be delivered at the office of the Board at Auckland, on or before the 1st of June next.
Ample security will be required for the prompt and proper performance of the Contract.

of Glasgow, to act as an Emigration Agent, for the province of Auckland, (vice Charles Hepburn, Esq., resigned) in issuing Land Orders to persons about to Emigrate from Scotland.

REGULATIONS FOR GUIDANCE OF LICENSED SURVEYORS UNDER N.Z. ACT.

All Boundaries of Blocks must be defined by cut lines at least 3 feet wide. All angles of boundaries to be defined by posts of not less than 3 x 4 inch hard wood, well driven into the ground, and projecting at least 15 inches above the surface.
In all open places a lock spit, one yard long and one spit deep, is to be dug from the post in the direction of either boundary line.
The post to be branded with the number of the block, or with some letter or mark indicative of it.
The measurement to show the horizontal distances, trigonometrical stations, if lying near the work, to be measured up to. In the absence of it...
