PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

By Robert Graham, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.

PURSUANT to the powers vested in me by the second clause of the "Highways Act 1862," I do hereby declare that the Lands comprised within the several boundaries hereunder described shall be a district under the said act and that such district shall be known by the name thereto prefixed, that is to say:

The Turanga District.

All those Lands which lie between Waitemata Harbour and the Northern boundaries of lots Nos. 29 and 46 of the Parish of Maraetai on the North, the boundaries of the Parishes of Wairoa and Papakura on the East, the Northern boundaries of lots Nos. 62 and 57 of the Parish of Papakura, the Southern boundary of lot No. 153, the Eastern boundaries of lots Nos. 91 and 94 and the Southern boundaries of lots Nos. 92, 93 and 94 all of the Parish of Manurewa, on the South, the Eastern boundaries of lots Nos. 91 and 94 and the Southern boundaries of lots Nos. 92, 93 and 94 of the Parish of Manurewa...

Given under my hand, at Auckland, this thirteenth day of June, One thousand eight hundred and sixty-five.

Auckland, 14th June, 1865.

I HEREBY notify that the Chairman of the first Meeting of the Electors of the District of Howick has, in accordance with the provisions of the "Highway Act 1865" presented to me in writing the names of the undermentioned Gentlemen elected Highway Trustees for that District,

Mr. Arnboldie,
Mr. Brady,
Mr. Crew,
Col. Peacocke,
Mr. White.
