IN virtue of the powers vested in me by the “Highways Act, 1862,” I do hereby declare that
THE NORTH TAMAKI DISTRICT
has ceased to be a District under the provisions of the said Act.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

PURSUANT to the powers vested in me by the second clause of the “Highways Act, 1862,” I do hereby declare that the lands comprised within the several boundaries hereunder described, shall be a District under the said Act, and that such District shall be known by the name thereto prefixed, that is to say,—
THE PAPAROA DISTRICT,
All those lands bounded on the North by the sea, on the East by the Mungaroa Creek and a right line extending from the head of that Creek to the North-East angle of the East Tamaki District, on the South by the Northern boundary of the East Tamaki District, on the West by the Pakuranga Highways District—excepting the village of Howick—including all roads traversing the lands within the before mentioned boundaries.
Given under my hand at Auckland, this first day of December, One thousand eight hundred and sixty-four.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.
IN virtue of the powers in me vested, I hereby notify that I have received, from persons interested in lands and tenements in the Paparoa District, a Memorial praying that the operation of the Highways Act, 1862, may be extended to the said District. And I hereby declare that the said Act shall henceforth be in full operation within the said Paparoa District.

NOTICE is hereby given that all persons claiming a right to vote at the election of a Board of Trustees for the District of Paparoa, under the “Highways Act, 1862,” are to send in their claims to Ponsonby Peacocke, Esq., J.P., Howick, on or before the 1st day of January next, and that such claims must be in the form following :—

To Ponsonby Peacocke Esquire, J.P., (the person appointed by the Superintendent to receive claims).
I hereby give notice that I claim to have my name enrolled as a voter for the election of the Highway Trustees for the District of Paparoa, (as Landowner, Lessee, or Mortgagee in possession, as the case may be,) and that the particulars of my place of abode and qualification are as follows :—
