PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

of Auckland.
PURSUANT to the powers vested in me by the second clause of the Highways Act, 1862, I do hereby declare that the lands comprised within the several boundaries here-under described shall be a District under the said Act, and that such District shall be known by the name thereto prefixed, that is to say,—
THE DISTRICT OF WAITAKEREI SOUTH.
All those lots in the Parish of Karangahape known as lots 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 46, 47, 48, 46, 50, 51, 52, 53, 54, 55, 56, 57, 58, 59, 60, 61, 62, 63, 64, 65, 66, 67, 68, 69, 70, 71, 72, 73, 74, 75, 76, 77, 78, 79, 80, including all roads traversing the above lots, together with the road abutting on the north-west of lots 73 and 74. Also all those lots in the Parish of Waikomito known as lots 93, 94, 95, 96, 97, 98, including all roads traversing the above lots, together with the road bounding on the north-east of lots 93, 96, 97, and 98.
Given under my hand at Auckland, this Twenty-sixth day of November, One thousand eight hundred and sixty-three.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Auckland, 26th Nov., 1863.
I HEREBY notify, for general information, that a Memorial signed by a majority in number of all persons having such interest in the District of Waitakerei South as is required by the "Highways Act, 1862," praying that the operation of the said Act may be extended to the said District, has been received by me;
And I do hereby declare that the "Highways Act, 1862," shall henceforth be in full operation within the said District of Waitakerei South.

NOTICE is hereby given that all persons claiming a right to vote at the election of a Board of Trustees for the District of Waitakerei South, under the Highways Act, 1862, are to send in their claims to James Dilworth, Esq., Justice of the Peace, on or before the 24th day of December next, and that such claims must be in the form following:—
