PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.
By JOHN WILLIAMSON, Esquire,
Superintendent of the Province
of Auckland.
UNDER and in pursuance of the powers
vested in the Superintendent in that be-
half by “The City and Harbour Endowments
Act, 1858,” I hereby notify for public
information, that those pieces or parcels
of land enumerated in the Schedule hereunder
written, will be offered for LEASE by Messrs.
CONNELL & RIDINGS, at their Auction
Mart, Queen-street, by Public Auction, at
noon on MONDAY, the 25th day of AU-
GUST, 1862, under the said “City and
Harbour Endowments Act, 1858.”
Given under my hand, at Auck-
land, in the said Province, this
seventeenth day of June, one
thousand eight hundred and
sixty-two.

PROCLAMATION.
By JOHN WILLIAMSON, Esquire,
Superintendent of the Province
of Auckland.
WHEREAS by the “Provincial Reserved
Bills Act, 1858,” it was amongst other
things enacted that whenever any Bill shall
have been passed by the Provincial Council of
any Province, and shall have been reserved by
the Superintendent for the signification of the
Governor’s pleasure thereon, such Bill shall
not have any force or authority within the
said Province until the Superintendent shall
signify either by speech or message to the
Provincial Council, or by Proclamation in the
Government Gazette of the said Province,
that such Bill had been laid before the
Governor, and that the Governor had assented
to the same. And whereas a Bill was passed
by the Provincial Council of the Province of
Auckland on the sixth day of May last, intitu-
led “The Debenture Act, 1862,” and the
same was reserved by me for the signification
of the pleasure of the Governor thereon.
Now, therefore, I, the Superintendent of
the Province of Auckland, do hereby proclaim
that the said Bill has been laid before the Gov-
ernor, and that he has been pleased to assent
to the same.
Given under my hand, at Auckland,
this eleventh day of June, in the
year of Our Lord one thousand
eight hundred and sixty-two.

PROCLAMATION.

the Governor, and that he has been pleased to
assent to the same.
