The Superintendent will meet the Provincial Council at the General Assembly Buildings, on Monday next, May 2nd, at three o'clock, p.m., for the purpose of opening the Session.

WITH reference to the 5th clause of the 1st section of the Manukau Harbour Regulations, all communications addressed to the Harbour Master will be received at the Police Office, Onehunga.

I HEREBY notify that I have this day appointed

GEORGE OWEN ORMSBY, Esq.,
as a person to make complaints and lodge informations against persons committing breaches of the "Auckland Municipal Police Act, 1858."

BRIDGE, FREEMAN'S BAY.

Superintendent's Office,
Auckland, April 30th, 1859.

TENDERS will be received at the Provincial Road Surveyor's Office, until noon of Monday, the 9th May next, for the erection of a wooden Bridge, with embanked approaches, at the junction of Victoria and Drake-streets. Plans and Specifications can be seen, and other information obtained, on application at the Provincial Road Surveyor's Office.

Tenders to be endorsed "Tender for the erection of a Bridge, Freeman's Bay."

IMPOUNDED

at the Public Pound, Otahuhu, by John Grigg, for trespass in his enclosed paddock at Otahuhu-

1 yellow Cow, white spots, hoop horns, branded like F off shoulder, and D off rump. Damages 2s. 6d. Owner unknown.

If not claimed within eleven days after the date of this notice, application will be made to a Justice of the Peace for an order for the sale of the above-mentioned Cow, agreeably to the provisions of the "Impounding Act, 1856."
