at the Public Pound, Otahuhu, by Mr. James Foley, for trespass in an enclosed paddock at Otahuhu,

1 Strawberry Cow, brown ears, and muzzle, open horns, branded ☾ off rump.

No damages claimed. Owner unknown.


Impounded by Josiah Hamlin, for trespass in a grass paddock at Waipuna—

1 yellow Heifer, white belly and star in face, 3 years old; no visible brand.

1 roan Heifer, cocked horns, 2 years old, no visible brand.

1 red Heifer, white belly, short horns, 2 years old, brand like PB or PD.

1 dark brown Steer, white on belly, flank, and face, open horns, branded WD near rump.

1 red Steer, white belly and tail, open horns, no visible brand.

Damages 5s. each. Owner unknown.

If not claimed within eleven days after the date of this notice, application will be made to a Justice of the Peace for an order for the sale of the above-mentioned cattle,


agreeably to the provisions of the “Impounding Act, 1856.”
