NOTICE.
A SPECIAL Meeting of the Justices of
the Peace for the City and District of
Auckland, will be holden at the Resident
Magistrate’s Court, Auckland, on Tuesday, the
1st day of March, 1859, at 12 o’clock, noon,
for the purpose of receiving applications for the
Transfer of Publicans Licences.

NOTICE.
Notice is hereby given that a Special
Meeting of the Justices of the Peace
for the District of Onehunga, will be holden at
the Resident Magistrate’s Court, Onehunga,
on Tuesday, the 1st day of March next, at the
hour of twelve o’clock, noon, for the purpose of
granting Slaughter-house Licences, in accordance with the 6th Clause of the “Slaughter
House Ordinance,” Session 8, No. 5.
Persons desirous of obtaining Licences as
aforesaid, must, ten days before such Meeting,
give to the Clerk of the Bench, a notice in
writing of their intention to apply for such
Licence, and must describe in the said notice
the house or place intended to be licensed.

IMPOUNDED at the Public Pound, Ota-
huhu, by Josiah Hamlin, for trespass in a
crop of Potatoes at Wairuna,
- 1 Red and White Heifer, 2 years old, cocked
horns, illegible brand off rump. - 1 Brown Bull, strawberry flank and breast,
short horns, 1 year old, no brand. - 1 Grey Steer, straight horns, 2 years old,
branded Z near rump. - 1 Light Strawberry poley Heifer, 2 years
old, no visible brand. - 1 Yellow Cow, white sides, and spots, aged,
branded like P B off neck, P C near
shoulder; no damages claimed; owners
unknown.
If not claimed within 11 days after the date
of this notice, application will be made to a
Justice of the Peace, for an order for the sale
of the above mentioned Cattle, agreeably to the
provisions of the “Impounding Act, 1856.”

TENDERS will be received at this Office
until noon on Wednesday, the 25th day
of May, 1859, for supplying Totara Piles of
the undermentioned sizes and quality.
One hundred (100) piles, 50 feet long, aver-
aging 16 inches diameter at the centre.
Thirty (30) piles, 45 feet long, averaging
15 inches diameter at the centre.
The piles to be straight, sound, and solid, and
to be delivered on the rocks at Smales’ Point,
Commercial Bay, Auckland, within three
months of the acceptance of the Tender.
Tenders to be sealed and endorsed “Tender
for Piles.”

Bridge and Slippery Creek.

in, may be obtained.

NOTICE is hereby given that Resident Ma-
gistrate’s Courts will be held at Well’s Inn,
Papakura, on the first Monday in every month,
at 10 o’clock a. m., the first Court being held
on Monday, the seventh day of March next;
and at Young’s Inn, Drury, on the third Mon-
day in every month, at 10 o’clock a. m., the
first Court being held on the 21st day of the
said month of March.
