I HEREBY notify that the run described below has been claimed by
DENIS BROWN COCHRANE.
SITUATION—At the junction of Waima and Hokianga Rivers.
BOUNDARIES—Commencing at Fishwick’s boundary, the two Mangrove trees; then on to the Puriri tree and along the centre of the hollow to the top of the hill, and along the hill ridge into the Karoro creek, down that creek into the Waima river, and by the Waima river to the commencing point known as Fishwick’s claim.
ESTIMATED EXTENT—(600) six hundred acres.
NUMBER AND DESCRIPTION OF THE STOCK LEFT UPON THE RUN—One hundred head of horned cattle; forty-five sheep; three horses.

NOTICE.
A SPECIAL Meeting of the Justices of the Peace, residing within a radius of 20 miles of the Police Office, Auckland, exclusive of those resident within the City and Suburbs, will be held at the Resident Magistrate’s Court, Auckland, on Monday, the 28th March, 1859, at 12 o’clock, noon, for the purpose of forming a Militia List, for the year next ensuing, for the Auckland Country District.
