PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

By JOHN WILLIAMSON, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.

UNDER and in pursuance of the powers vested in the Superintendent in that behalf by the "Auckland Reserves Act, 1858," I hereby notify for public information, that all those pieces or parcels of Land enumerated in the Schedule hereunder written, will on Friday, the 30th day of September next, at the Waste Land Office, be offered for Lease by Public Auction, under the said Act.

HUNDRED OF HOWICK.

THE following Bye-Law is published for general information.

DANIEL POLLEN,
Commissioner of Crown Lands.

At a meeting of the Wardens of the Hundred of Howick, it was agreed as a Bye-Law, That any person or persons allowing Cattle to run at large within the said Hundred (without being duly licensed), shall forfeit and pay the sum of Ten Shillings (10s.) for each and every head of Great Cattle, and Five Shillings (5s.) for each and every head of Small Cattle.

I HEREBY NOTIFY that I have this day appointed Mr. WALTER GRAY as a person to make complaints and lodge informations against persons committing breaches of the "Auckland Municipal Police Act, 1858," within the Electoral Districts of the City and Suburbs of Auckland.
