PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Auckland, December 6th, 1858.
I HEREBY notify for public information
that, in accordance with the powers vested
in the Superintendent by the “Auckland
Waste Land Act, 1858,” the land hereinafter
described has been reserved and set apart as a
place for the Interment of the Dead:

All that portion of land being part of lot
No. 11 in the Parish of Wainui East in the
County of Eden bounded on the North by part
of lot No. 7, 1200 links on the East by a Road
800 links, on the South by other part of said
lot No. 11, 1200 links, and on the West by
other part of said lot No. 11, 800 links con-
taining by admeasurement 9 acres 2 roods and
16 perches.

DEPASTURING Licenses within the
proclaimed Hundreds will be issued
under the Crown Lands Ordinance, No. 1,
Session 10, and No. 10, Session 11, to all
persons being occupants of land under Crown
Grants, or—in the case of Pensioners, Natives,
or Half-castes,—by permission of the Crown,
applying for such licenses on or before the 1st
January, 1859.

These licenses will be issued on payment of
a fee of ten shillings and sixpence for each.
