I HEREBY notify for general information that, with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, I have appointed the undermentioned gentlemen to be Commissioners of the Board of Education:—

TOTARA PILES.
Superintendent’s Office,
Auckland, March 3rd, 1857.
TENDERS will be received at this Office until noon of MONDAY, the 13th April next, for the supply and delivery of such quantity of Totara Piles as may be required for the construction of Piers in the Auckland and Manukau Harbours.
Particulars as to dimensions of Piles, &c., may be obtained on application at this office.

will be holden at the Resident Magistrate’s Court, at Auckland, on Tuesday, the 31st day of March, 1857, at twelve o’clock, noon, for the purpose of forming a Militia List for the year next ensuing.
