I HEREBY notify for general information that, pursuant to the authority vested in the Superintendent by the "Provincial Government Act," Session 1, No. 7, I have appointed the undermentioned gentlemen to be members of the Provincial Executive Council.

I HEREBY notify for general information that I have appointed

Mr. Francis Dyer Rich

to be Inspector of Sheep for the Auckland Sheep District, vice Mr. George Rich; and that, in order to assist the Inspector of Sheep in efficiently carrying into effect the provisions of the Sheep Act, I have duly appointed

Mr. William Walters

to inspect, and to give written permission for the landing of, Sheep at the Port of Auckland.

of Waimate, to act in the capacity of Registrar of Brands for the Northern Cattle District, vice William Bartley, Esq., resigned.
