PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.
I HEREBY NOTIFY for general information that I have this day appointed
CORMACK PATRICK O’RAHILTY, Esq.,
Provincial Land Surveyor, to act as Waste Land Commissioner for the Province of Auckland, under the Land Regulations for the said Province, which came into operation on the 15th of June, 1856. Dated this 19th day of November, 1856.

I HEREBY notify for general information that I have appointed the undermentioned places to be additional polling stations at the ensuing election of a member to serve in the Provincial Council for the Pensioner Settlements, viz:—
Howick, at the Court House,
Paumure, at Brady’s Inn,
Otahuhu, at Roger’s Inn.

HIS Excellency the Governor directs it to be notified for general information that, with a view to the early consideration of such documents, all Memorials or other communications to the General Government affecting the administration of the Provincial Governments of the respective Provinces of New Zealand should be transmitted unsealed through the Superintendents of such Provinces.
