THE Contractors for the undermentioned Supplies having given notice of their intention to discontinue their Contracts from the 30th instant, Notice is hereby given that TENDERS will be received at this Office until noon on MONDAY, the 24th instant, from persons desirous of furnishing such supplies during the months of May and June next.
PROVISIONS FOR COLONIAL HOSPITAL AND LUNATIC ASYLUM.
Fresh Beef or Mutton, per lb.

Fowls, each
Eggs, fresh, per dozen
Butter, fresh, per lb.
Suet, best, per lb.
Fine Bread, per lb.
Fine Flour, per lb.
Potatoes, picked, do.
Mixed Vegetables, fresh, per lb,
Tea, best, per lb.
Sugar, Company’s best, per lb.
Oatmeal, best, per lb.
Arrowroot, finest, per lb.
Sago, finest, per lb.
Rice, Patna, per lb,
Salt, fine, per lb.
Pepper, good, do.
Tobacco, best, do.
Soap, best, do.
Brandy, Cogniac, per 2 gallons
Gin, best, per 2 gallons
Port Wine, best, per 2 gallons
Sherry, good, per dozen
Ale, best, per dozen
Porter, best, per 2 gallons
Milk, best, per quart
Vinegar, best, per quart
Mould Candles, best, per lb.
Oil, sperm, good, per gallon
Whiting, good, per lb.
Straw, fresh, per ton.
The several articles must be of the best quality, subject to the approval of the Colonial Surgeon, and must be delivered at the Hospital or Lunatic Asylum, as the case may be, at the expense of the contractor.
RATIONS FOR GAOL AND LOCK-UP, AND FOR DESTITUTE PERSONS.
Gaol Ration, No. 1,
No. 2, at per ration.
No. 3,
Police Lock-up Ration, each.
Rations for Destitute Persons, each.
Information respecting the established rations may be obtained at this Office.
Tenders must be in duplicate, sealed, and endorsed "Tenders for [description of supplies.]"
Particulars of conditions, &c., can be obtained on application at this Office.

TENDERS will be received at this office, until noon on MONDAY, the 24th instant, for furnishing the Provincial Government with FIREWOOD, in such quantities as may be required from the date of the acceptance of the Tender to the 30th of October next.
Tenders to state the price per ton at which Firewood of the usual size, and of a size to suit the fire-places in the public offices, will be delivered on the Beach, at the several Public Offices and the Gaol, and at the Hospital and Lunatic Asylum.
Tenders to be in duplicate, sealed, and endorsed "Tenders for Firewood."
