HOKITIKA, SATURDAY, DECEMBER 4, 1875.

PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by a Proclamation under the hand of Henry Lee Robinson, Esq., the Deputy Superintendent of the Province of Westland, dated the 26th day of October, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-five, and published in the Province of Westland Gazette, No. 26, of the second November, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-five, Monday, the 13th day of December instant, was fixed as the day on which the Election for the Local School Committee for the Jackson’s Bay Educational District should take place:
And whereas it is expedient that the time for the said Election should be extended:
Now therefore, I, James Alexander Bonar, Superintendent of the Province of Westland, do hereby fix that the nomination of Candidates for the Local School Committee for the Jackson’s Bay Educational District shall take place on Monday, the 24th day of January, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-six, and the Poll, if necessary, will be held on Monday, the 31st day of January, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-six, at the Government Store, Jackson’s Bay.
Given under my hand at Hokitika, this fourth day of December, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-five.
