HOKITIKA, THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 30, 1875.

PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by “The Westland Education Ordinance, 1874, Amendment Ordinance, 1875,” it is amongst other things enacted that an Election of Members to fill up the vacancies occasioned by the annual retirement of Members in the Local Committee shall take place during the second week of the month of each year, at a time and places to be fixed by the Superintendent:
Now therefore, I, Henry Lee Robinson, Deputy-Superintendent of the Province of Westland, in exercise of the powers vested in me in that behalf, do hereby fix that the Elections to fill up the vacancies occasioned by the annual retirement of Members in the Local Committee for each Educational District, shall take place on Thursday, the fourteenth day of October next, at the places mentioned in the Schedule hereto annexed.
Given under my hand at Hokitika, this twenty-fifth day of September, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-five.

ERRATUM—In Provincial Gazette No. 22, of the 31st of August, 1875, in the appointment of Keeper of Powder Magazine, Hokitika, for “John Barrett” read “Joseph Barrett.”
