Fixing Sittings of District Court, Westland.
Normanby, Governor.
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and
authority in this behalf enabling me,
I, George Augustus Constantine, Marquis of
Normanby, the Governor of the Colony of
New Zealand, do hereby fix and appoint that
sittings of the District Court of Westland, as
the same is constituted by a Proclamation
bearing date the tenth day of July instant,
and published in The New Zealand Gazette
of the fifteenth day of July instant, shall be
as follow:
In the Supreme Court House at Hoki-
tika; for the despatch of Criminal and
Civil Business, on the first day of
August, the first day of October, and
the first day of December next, and
for Civil Business only on the first day
of November next.
In the Resident Magistrate’s Court
House at Greymouth, for the despatch
of Criminal and Civil Business, on the
twelfth day of August, the twelfth
day of October, and the twelfth day
of December next, and for Civil
Business only on the twelfth day of
September, and the twelfth day of
November next.
In the Resident Magistrate’s Court
House at Westport, for the despatch
of Criminal and Civil Business, on the
twentieth day of August, the twentieth day
of October, and the twentieth day
of December next.
In the Resident Magistrate’s Court
House at Reefton, for the despatch of
Criminal and Civil Business, on the
sixth day of September, and the
twentieth day of November next.
Provided that in case any of the days so fixed
as aforesaid shall happen to be a Sunday or a
holiday, then the Court appointed for that
day shall be holden on the first day there-
after not being a holiday.
Issued this twenty-ninth day of July,
one thousand eight hundred and
seventy-five.

Notification of Reserves for Public Purposes, under “The Westland Waste Lands Act, 1874.”
Normanby, Governor.
IN pursuance and exercise of the power
and authority in me vested in this behalf
by the Regulations for the Sale and disposal
of Waste Lands in the Province of Westland,
I hereby reserve the lands in the said Province
of Westland, the boundaries whereof
are described in the Schedule hereunto
annexed, for the uses of the Colonial Govern-
ment, and other public purposes, as in the
Schedule is more particularly specified.
SCHEDULE.
Reserve No. 101, containing one acre, more
or less, situate in the Town of Kanieri;
bounded on the North-westward by Papanui
Street, two hundred links; on the North-
eastward by Cobden’s Quay, four hundred
links; on the South-eastward by a line at a
right angle with Cobden’s Quay, three
hundred links; and on the South-westward
by a straight line four hundred and twelve
links—for Public Hall purposes.
