KARANGAROA RIVER.

ARCHIBALD M’BRIDE.

  1. The ferry to be worked by boat.
  2. The amount of subsidy to be £50 per annum.
  3. Occupation allowed of twenty-five acres of Ferry Reserve.
  4. Protection allowed on both sides of the river for half a mile each way from the point at which the boat usually starts.

Goods, per cwt. 0 6

All Government officers on duty, and persons carrying Her Majesty’s mails under contract, free.

COOK’S RIVER.

ROBERT C. M’INTOSH.

  1. The ferry to be worked by boat.
  2. The amount of subsidy to be £50 per annum.
  3. Occupation allowed of twenty-five acres of Ferry Reserve.
  4. Protection granted on both sides of the river for half a mile from the place the boat usually starts.

  4. Protection to date from the 1st May 1874.

WARD AND DOUGLAS.

  3. The ferryman to erect a wire bridge over the right-hand branch of the Paringa River, in accordance with specifications to be prepared by Provincial Engineer; the Government to find the wire, and deliver the same at Paringa.
