PROCLAMATION.

By His Honor James Alexander Bonar, Superintendent of the Province of Westland, in the Colony of New Zealand, &c., &c.

By virtue and in exercise of the power and authority vested in me by "The Superintendent’s Deputy Act, 1866," I, James Alexander Bonar, Superintendent of the Province of Westland, do hereby appoint

Francis Christopher Tarbet,

of Hokitika, Esquire, to be Deputy Superintendent of the said Province of Westland, and as my deputy to do, perform and exercise all the acts, powers, and authorities, which may by law be performed by such Deputy-Superintendent.

Given under my hand, and issued under the Public Seal of the Province, at Hokitika, this 17th day of July, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy-four.
