WESTLAND GAZETTE.

HOKITIKA, TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 16, 1873.
In pursuance of the provisions of sections eighty and eighty-one of "The Westland Waste Lands Act, 1870" the Waste Lands Board have reserved from public sale the lands described in the Schedule hereunto annexed, to be granted in payment for public works.

SCHEDULE.
Block LXXX. (Rural.)
GREY DISTRICT.
Seventy acres more or less; bounded on the North by original Greymouth Town Belt; on the East by boundary of block and a line forty (40) chains distant from west boundary of block; on the West by the West boundary of block; and on the South by a line to include the quantity; subject to necessary reserves and gold-workings.
Block XXVI. (Rural.)
ARAHURA DISTRICT.
Two hundred and forty acres more or less; bounded on the North by White’s-road; on the West by sections 1215, 1208, 1218, and 1222; on the South by sections 1208, 1218, and 1222 and a road; and on the East by a line parallel to the East boundary of section 1222.
Blocks XXVI and XVIII. (Rural.)
One hundred acres more or less; bounded on the south by White’s-road; on the West by section 1291; on the North by a line in continuation of North boundary of section 1291; and on the East by a line parallel to west boundary to include the quantity; subject to necessary reserves and gold-workings.

In exercise of the power in me for this purpose vested by "The Westland Waste Lands Act, 1870," I, Sir James Fergusson, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby authorise the sale of the land described in the schedule hereto to Henry Diedrichs and Henry Karnbach, at the rate of Ten Shillings per acre.
