SCHEDULE—TOTARA FERRY.

MOLE AND CASHMAN.

Punt on the Totara Lagoon plying between
the landing on Cashman’s Island, eight
chains from, and E.S.E. (magnetic) of bush
traverse peg T. 8, and the landing on the
western bank of said lagoon, at a point five
chains E. by S. (magnetic) of bush traverse
peg T. 8.

Boat on the Totara River plying between
the landing on the northern bank at Totara
River, traverse peg O., and the southern
bank of the said river, at a point due south
(magnetic) of river traverse peg O.

  1. The punts, gear and approaches to be
    maintained in good and serviceable condition,
    subject to the approval of the County
    Engineer.

  2. Ferry to extend on both sides of the
    river, one mile each way, from the point at
    which the punt starts.

  3. The protection to date for one year from
    the 1st October, 1872.

  4. Schedule of charges:—

£100 REWARD.

WHEREAS Charles Morra, miner, lately
residing at the Three-mile Creek
Ferry, Okarito, has been missing since the
6th of August last, and is supposed to have
been murdered and the body concealed.
A Reward of £50 will be paid for the recovery of the body, and an additional Reward
of £50 will also be paid on conviction of the
murderer. The first offered Reward will not
be paid if the body should be found on the
beach, washed up by the sea.

Registered," under the provisions of "The
Mining Companies’ Limited Liability Act,
1865," and "The Mining Companies Limited
Liability Act Amendment Act, 1869," and I
hereby solemnly and sincerely declare
that the following statement is, to
the best of my belief and knowledge, true in
every particular.

  1. The name of the Company is "THE
    HIBERNIAN WATER RACE COMPANY,
    REGISTERED."

  2. The place of operations is the New
    River District, in the County of Westland.

  3. The nominal capital of the Company is
    six thousand pounds, in twelve hundred
    shares of five pounds each.

  4. The amount already paid up is £3500.

  5. The name of the Manager is James
    Hamilton.

  6. The office of the Company is at the
    store of Messrs. James Hamilton and Co.,
    Marsden.

  7. The names and several residences of the
    shareholders and number of shares held by
    each at this date are as follows:—

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and
authority in me vested in this behalf by
"The Westland Waste Lands Act, 1870," I
hereby reserve the lands in the County of
Westland, the boundaries whereof are described in the Schedule hereunto annexed,
for the uses of the Colonial Government and
the undersigned James Hamilton,
hereby make application to register.
