Lands Act, 1870," I, Sir George Ferguson Bowen, the Governor of New Zealand, do hereby authorise the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto, to Thomas Whilliams Bruce, at the rate of ten shillings per acre.

SCHEDULE.
All that parcel of land in the County of Westland, situated between the Teremakau River and Lake Brunner, to the eastward of the Hohonu Range, containing two thousand five hundred acres, more or less, bounded on the northward by a straight line; on the westward by the Orangipuku River and straight lines; on the southward by straight lines; and on the eastward by the Poerua Lake, by a branch of the Orangipuku River, and by straight lines; and comprising all the open land known as the Big Paddock and Little Paddock, exclusive of roads and other necessary reserves, and subject to survey and gold-workings.

BY virtue and in pursuance of the power and authority vested in me by “The County of Westland Act, 1868,” and of every power and authority in this behalf enabling me, I, Sir George Ferguson Bowen, the Governor of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the following additional Polling Place for the Electoral District hereinafter named, being a district described in the Fourth Schedule to the said Act, that is to say—
