IT is hereby notified, in accordance with the provisions of section forty-three of “The Westland Waste Lands Act, 1870,” that the land described in the schedule hereunto annexed is open for sale.

SCHEDULE.

BLOCK LXX. (RURAL).

ARAHURA DISTRICT.

Comprising land between the Rangiriri and Taipo Rivers: Bounded on the westward by the eastern boundary of Block V. (rural); on the northward by the Teremakau River; on the eastward by the Taipo River; and on the southward by the foot of the high terraces between the Taipo and Wainihinihi Rivers, and by a straight line from the last mentioned river to the east boundary of Block V. (rural); said line to be fifty (50) chains south of and generally parallel to the Christchurch Road.

Subject to roads, reserves, and gold workings.

AUCTION SALE OF WASTE LANDS OF THE CROWN, UNDER “THE WESTLAND WASTE LANDS ACT, 1870.”

WE, the undersigned, Commissioners of the Waste Lands Board of the County of Westland, in accordance with the provisions of section thirty-four of “The Westland Waste Lands Act, 1870,” do hereby notify that Friday, 22nd December next, at noon, in the Wardens’ Court, Goldsborough, is fixed as the time and place when a sale of improved and unimproved sections of the Town of Goldsborough shall take place.

If any person has made improvements to the value of twenty pounds sterling upon any section, the occupier shall be entitled to purchase said section at the upset price.

All unimproved sections will be put up to auction.
