that, in pursuance of the powers delegated
to me under “The Gold Fields Act, 1866,”
I, Henry Hermann Lahman, Chairman of
the County Council, did, on the 27th day of
September, 1871, give notice unto Patrick
Kerns that his agricultural lease was deter-
mined on account of the auriferous nature of
the ground.
