ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this first day of July, 1871.
Present:
THE HONOURABLE FRANCIS DILLON BELL, PRESIDING, AND MEMBERS OF THE EXECUTIVE COUNCIL.
WHEREAS, by "The Mining Companies Limited Liability Act Amendment Act, 1869," it is enacted, that it shall be lawful for the Governor in Council to appoint one or more persons to be called Official Auditors, to audit the accounts of all Official Agents heretofore appointed, or hereafter to be appointed, under "The Mining Companies Limited Liability Act, 1865:"
Now therefore, His Excellency the Governor, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in him by the above recited Act, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the Colony, doth appoint the undermentioned person to be Official Auditor of the accounts of the Official Agent, in, and for the place, or mining districts, set opposite his name, subject to the provisions contained in the above recited Act.

NOTICE is hereby given, that the following Resolutions were passed at a General Meeting of the Grey Valley Tramway Company, Limited, held on the 20th June, 1871, and that the said Resolutions were confirmed at a General Meeting of the Company, held on the 24th July, 1871.
1st. That the Company be wound up voluntarily.
2nd. That Messrs. Wylde and Orr be appointed Liquidators for the Company.
