BLOCK X. (RURAL).

Situate in the Totara District: Bounded on the northward by the south boundary of Block XLVIII. (rural) and Block IX. (suburban), and by part of line HC; on the eastward by Block XXXVI. (rural) by part of the one mile line, and part of line HG; on the southward by part of line HP, by part of line HO, and by Moorhouse Road; and on the westward by a line ten chains east of and generally parallel to the Railway Reserve, and by the Railway Reserve.

Exclusive of all lands sold, reserves, and gold workings.

SCHEDULE.

BLOCK XLIX. (RURAL).

Situate in the Arahura District: Bounded on the northward by Block XXXIX. (suburban), and by reserve No. 68 (in red), and running southward along the Goldsborough and Greenstone Road to a point two miles and sixty chains south of the Kapitea Creek crossing; being bounded on the eastward and westward by lines distant forty chains from either side of the before-mentioned road, so as to give a mean width of the block of one mile.

BLOCK LXIV. (RURAL).

OKARITO DISTRICT.

Bounded on the north by the Left-hand branch of the Parangae River for about six miles, on the west by the Right-hand branch of said river, on the south by the Paranga Lake, and on the east by the foot of main range and terraces.

Exclusive of necessary reserves, and subject to gold workings.

BLOCK LXV. (RURAL).

OKARITO DISTRICT.

Situate at Mahitahi River, Bruce Bay: Bounded on the west by Native Reserve No. C, and the Makahita Stream, on the south by the Mahitahi River for about one mile, on the east by the foot of the main range, and on the north by a line generally parallel to and one mile distant from the Mahitahi.

Exclusive of necessary reserves, and subject to gold workings.

BLOCK LXVI. (RURAL).

TOTARA DISTRICT.

Bounded on the north by the south boundary of Block XXXVI. (withdrawn), on the east by the Hokitika River, by HH, and HF lines, on the south by the Totara River and HM line, and on the west by the east boundary of Block X.

Exclusive of necessary reserves, and gold workings.

In pursuance of the provisions of section 61 of The Westland Waste Lands Act, 1870, the Waste Lands Board will after the expiration of three months from the day this notification shall have been first published in The County of Westland Gazette, declare Block XXXVI. (rural) in the Totara District, open for sale.

The said block was withdrawn from sale by a notification in The County of Westland Gazette, No. 20, dated 9th June, 1870.
