Council to be exercised only within and in respect to the said County:

Now therefore, I, Conrad Hoes, Chairman of the County Council of Westland, in exercise of the powers in that behalf delegated to me, do hereby declare that game shall not be hunted, shot, taken, or killed within that part of the Colony known as the County of Westland, and I do further declare that the game which shall not be so hunted, shot, taken, or killed shall be the game specified in the 4th Schedule to the said Act, which is hereby annexed.

Given under my hand, at Hokitika, this twentieth day of September, one thousand eight hundred and seventy.

Pheasants, Quails, Hares,
Partridges, Snipe, Antelope,
Grouse, Plovers, Deer.
Black Game, Swans, Imported Wild Duck of any species.

IN exercise of the power in me for this purpose vested by the "Bankruptcy Act, 1867," and the "Bankruptcy Act Amendment Act, 1868," or otherwise, I hereby appoint the newspaper published at Greymouth, called

"THE GREY RIVER ARGUS,"

to be, on and from the first day of October, 1870, a Gazette in Bankruptcy for that part of the Judicial District of Westland constituted under the "Supreme Court Act, 1860," which lies to the Northward of the river Teremakau.

And I hereby appoint the newspaper published at Hokitika, and called

"THE WEST COAST TIMES,"

to be, on and from the first day of October, 1870, a Gazette in Bankruptcy for that part of the said Judicial District of Westland which lies to the Southward of the river Teremakau.

Given under my hand, at Hokitika, this twentieth day of September, one thousand eight hundred and seventy.

IN exercise and pursuance of the power and authority vested in me in that behalf by the Mining Lease Regulations of the County of Westland, I hereby declare that the leases mentioned in the Schedule hereto annexed are forfeited, the lessees having failed to comply with the Regulations, and I further declare that the ground is now open for occupation.

Given under my hand, at Hokitika, this seventeenth day of September, one thousand eight hundred and seventy.
