HOKITIKA, WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 26, 1870.
WHEREAS, by a Proclamation issued by His Excellency the Governor, dated the fifth day of September, 1869, and published in the New Zealand Gazette, Number 54, dated the 17th day of September, 1869, it was ordered that the parcel of land, described in Schedule I. hereto annexed, should be sold, and that the time, place, and conditions of the said sale should be fixed by the Waste Lands Board of the County of Westland, and should be published in the County of Westland Gazette.
It is hereby notified that at the sitting of the Waste Lands Board, to be held on Tuesday, the first day of February, in the Land Office, Hokitika, the lots of land numbered on the authenticated plan of the Town of Hokitika, 1706 to 1712 inclusive, and situated on the block described in the Schedule above referred to, may be purchased by the owners of the adjoining sections at a price calculated at the rate of £60 an acre, and if not so sold may be offered at auction at any auction sale of town lands by the Waste Lands Board.
SCHEDULE I.
All that parcel of land situate in the Town of Hokitika, being Reserve number five hundred and thirty-two (532), bounded towards the north-east by sections numbers six hundred and seventy-two (672) and six hundred and seventy-one (671), four hundred and ninety-eight (498) links; towards the south-east by Rolleston-street, ninety-seven (97) links; towards the south-west by sections numbers 954, 953, 952, 951, 950, 949, 948, 947, 946, and 945, four hundred and ninety-eight (498) links, and towards the north-west by Sale-street, ninety-seven (97) links.
