HOKITIKA, MONDAY, MAY 2, 1870.

SUPREME COURT OF NEW ZEALAND.

WESTLAND DISTRICT.

NOTICE.—The times for holding the Circuit Court have been recently altered by Proclamation dated at Wellington the 28th day of March, 1870, and they are now as follows:—

“In the Westland District, at the Supreme Court House at Hokitika, on the second Monday in each of the months of January, May, and September in each and every year.”

The next Circuit Court will accordingly be holden on Monday, the 9th day of May, 1870.

Jurors, witnesses, and all other persons who may be required to be present, must be in attendance at 10 o’clock in the forenoon.

PROCLAMATION.

WE the undersigned, Commissioners of the Waste Lands Board of the County of Westland, in accordance with the provisions of Section 30 of the regulations for the sale, letting, occupation, and management of the Waste Lands of the Crown in the County of Westland, do hereby proclaim that the lands described in the Schedule hereunto annexed are open for sale.

Given under our hands, at Hokitika, this 26th day of April, one thousand eight hundred and seventy.

SCHEDULE.

Block XL. (Suburban).

SITUATE in the Totara Road District on the South side of the road from the Beach to Ross; bounded on the Northward by the said road, on the Eastward by Ross town boundary, on the Southward by a line twelve chains and a half from the northern boundary, and on the Westward by Block XIX.

Block XLI. (Suburban).

Situate in the Kaniere Road District at the Terminus of the Hau Hau Tramway in the Big Paddock; bounded on the Eastward by the Reserve for the Tramway, on the Northward by the metalled track going West through the Paddock, on the Westward and Southward by lines to include five acres more or less, but not to interfere with any existing rights.
