IT is hereby notified for general information that according to the resolution passed at its last session, "on the 15th February, 1870," the County Council will meet for the despatch of business on Thursday, the 5th May next, at 12 noon, at the Supreme Court House, Hokitika.

THE following Regulation of the Council of the Borough of Greymouth has been forwarded to the Chairman of the County Council, who directs it to be notified that he does not dissent from it. It is published for general information under the 191st Clause of "The Municipal Corporations Act, 1870."

REGULATION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF GREYMOUTH MADE UNDER SECTION TWO OF PART THREE OF THE THIRTEENTH SCHEDULE OF THE "MUNICIPAL CORPORATIONS ACT, 1867," THE COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF GREYMOUTH MAKE THE FOLLOWING REGULATION, THAT IS TO SAY:—

First. That the whole of the regulation of the said Council passed the twenty-second day of March, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty-nine, and made under section two of part three of the thirteenth schedule of the "Municipal Corporations Act, 1867," is hereby repealed.

Second. That on all goods landed at the Transit Shed, and left there for a longer period than twenty-four hours, shall be paid...


ERRATUM.—In the Schedule of Tolls authorised to be charged by the Hokitika and Kanieri Tramway Company, published in the County of Westland Gazette, No. 28, December 11th, 1869, the charge for Colonial sawn timber should be 3s. per 100 super feet, instead of per 1000 super feet.
