WE, the undersigned, Commissioners of the Waste Lands Board of the County of Westland, in accordance with the provisions of section 30 of the Regulations for the sale, letting, occupation, and management of the Waste Lands of the Crown in the County of Westland, do hereby proclaim that the lands described in the schedule hereunto annexed are open for sale.

Given under our hands at Hokitika this first day of March, one thousand eight hundred and seventy.

TOTARA DISTRICT.

Block XXXIX. (Suburban).

Bounded on the Northward by Block XIX,
on the Westward by Railway Reserve No. nine (9) (in red), on the Southward by a line twelve (12) chains and fifty (50) links South of the road from the Beach to Donoghues, and on the Eastward by lines to exclude all lands occupied either for mining purposes or residences at Donoghues.


WE, the undersigned, Commissioners of the Waste Lands Board of the County of Westland, do hereby proclaim that the lands included in Block XX., (suburban), are withdrawn from sale.

THE following tender of Captain C. S. Bascand, of the steamer “Waipara,” for the performance of a bi-weekly steam service to the Southern Ports, during the six months ending 30th June, 1870, has been accepted:
