HOKITIKA, FRIDAY, DECEMBER 17, 1869

WE, the undersigned, Commissioners of the Waste Lands Board of Westland, in accordance with the provisions of section 21 of the regulations for the sale, letting, occupation, and management of the Waste Lands of the Crown in the County of Westland, do hereby notify that Monday, the seventeenth day of January, in the Land Office, Hokitika, and Tuesday, the eighteenth day of January, in the Resident Magistrate’s Court, Greymouth, are fixed as the times and places when sales of town, suburban, and rural lands, by auction, shall take place.

IN accordance with the provisions of section 46 of the regulations for the sale, letting, occupation, and management of the Waste Lands of the Crown in the County of Westland, we, the undersigned, Commissioners of the Waste Lands Board of the County of Westland, do hereby proclaim that the lands included in Block XXII (Suburban), are withdrawn from sale.

Given under our hands, at Hokitika, this fourteenth day of December, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-nine.

WE, the undersigned, Commissioners of the Waste Lands Board of the County of Westland, in accordance with the provisions of section 30 of the regulations for the sale, letting, occupation, and management of the Waste Lands of the Crown in the County of Westland, do hereby proclaim that the lands described in the Schedule hereunto annexed are open for sale.

Given under our hands at Hokitika, this fourteenth day of December, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-nine.

SCHEDULE.

TOTARA DISTRICT.
(Block No. XXXIV. (Rural.))

Bounded on the Westward and Northward by the Totara River, on the Eastward by Harvey’s Creek, on the Southward by the alluvial gold workings, and by Block No. XI (Suburban).

WHEREAS by the 29th Section of “The Gold Fields Act, 1866,” it is enacted that it shall be lawful for the Governor in Council to demise for mining purposes, to any person, for any term not exceeding fifteen years from the making of the lease, any auriferous Crown Lands, not exceeding ten acres in the whole of alluvial ground, and to grant titles for machinery and any necessary
