The following statement is, to the best of my belief and knowledge, true in every particular:—

  1. The name and style of the Company is "The Great Ross Extended Gold-Mining Company, Registered."

  2. The place of intended operations is at Ross, in the County of Westland.

  3. The nominal capital of the Company is ten thousand pounds, in two thousand shares of five pounds each.

  4. The amount already paid up is four thousand pounds, allotted to the shareholders in 2000 shares, £2 on each paid up, in exchange for their interest in a claim known as "The Ross Extended," and the machinery thereon.

  5. The name of the Manager is Joshua Strange Williams.

  6. The office of the Company is at Hereford street, Christchurch, in the Province of Canterbury.

  7. The names in full and several residences of the shareholders, and the number of shares held by each at this date, are as follows:—
