Township Reserve No. 272 (in red), Hokitika
South, and commencing at a point on the
southern boundary of said township, about
sixteen chains eastward of the intersection of
Mahinapua Creek with the said boundary;
and from thence in a northern and easterly
direction to the Hokitika River, a distance of
one hundred and three chains about, and
being of a width of three chains. For a rail-

ship Hokitika, South Reserve, No. 272 (in
red), commencing at a point on South Road,
seven chains South of the intersection of Pine
Creek with the said road; thence South-
easterly at a right angle a distance of ten
chains to Reserve No. 25 (in red); thence
South-westerly along the boundary of the
said reserve, a distance of five chains; thence
North-westerly at a right angle, a distance of
ten chains to the South Road, and North-
easterly along the said road to the commenc-
ing point. For the purpose of a Colonial

Township of Hokitika South, No. 272 (in
red), commencing at a point on the South-
eastern boundary of Reserve No, 25 (in red),
the same being three chains distant from the
North-western angle of Reserve No. 26 (in
red); thence at a right angle to Reserve No.
25 (in red), a distance of ten chains; thence at
a right angle, a distance of five chains;
thence at a right angle, a distance of ten
chains to Reserve No. 25 (in red), and along
the boundary of said Reserve, a distance of
five chains to the commencing point. For

Town of Hokitika; being bounded on the
the West by Reserve No. 454 (in red); on
the South by boundary of Reserve No. 453
(in red), for a distance of five chains; on
the East by a line at right angles to the last-
mentioned boundary a distance of ten chains;
and on the North by a line to the north-east
corner of Reserve No. 454 (in red), to include
the quantity. For an extension of the Gaol
Reserve.
All that tract of land, being thirty-three
feet in width on either side of the telegraph
poles, and extending from the top of Arthur's
Pass to the Town of Hokitika, subject never-
theless to freehold land, to roads, and to
reserves previously made. For provincial
telegraph purposes.
Seventy-nine acres, more or less, situate
near the south bank of the river Grey, com-
mencing at a point on the road reserved along
the North-eastern bank of the Omotomoto
Creek, the same being six chains seventy-five
links South-east of the Omotomoto Bridge;
thence following a line bearing North 64°
30' East (magnetic), a distance of about
thirty-five chains twenty links; thence fol-
lowing another line bearing South 40° 50'
East (magnetic), a distance of about sixteen
chains forty links to the road before-men-
tioned; and from thence returning along the
same to the commencing point. For a re-
creation ground.
