Proclamation.

By His Honor William Fitzherbert, Esquire, C.M.G., Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, in the Colony of New Zealand.

I, WILLIAM FITZHERBERT, Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, do hereby, in pursuance of the Regulations in this behalf, proclaim and notify that the several allotments of land situated in the Whareamu Block, in the East Coast District, in the Province of Wellington, and specified in the Schedule hereto, except such as may be reserved under the provision hereafter mentioned, will be put up for sale by public auction, at the Crown Lands Office, in the City of Wellington, on Wednesday the nineteenth day of April, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-six, at eleven o’clock in the forenoon.

If at any time during the sale it shall appear to the Commissioner of Crown Lands beneficial or expedient to the public service to reserve from sale either of the sections specified in the said Schedule, or to vary the order in which they are to be put up, he is hereby authorised to do so.

Given under my hand and issued under the public seal of the Province of Wellington, at Wellington, this fourteenth day of March, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-six.

PROCLAMATION

By His Honor William Fitzherbert, Esquire, C.M.G., Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, in the Colony of New Zealand.

I, WILLIAM FITZHERBERT, Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, do hereby proclaim and appoint that all game may be hunted, shot, taken, or killed between the twelfth day of May, 1876, and the thirty-first day of July, 1876, both inclusive.

And further that all Native game may be hunted, shot, taken, or killed from the first day of May, 1876, to the twelfth day of August, 1876: Provided that this Proclamation shall not apply to that portion of the Province contained within the boundaries in the Schedule hereto.

Given under my hand, and issued under the Public Seal of the Province of Wellington, at Wellington, this ninth day of March, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-six.

SCHEDULE.

Bounded on the north by a line bearing about east from the source of the Waikanae river to the top of the Tararua range, and by the Waikanae river; on the east by the summit line of the Tararua and Rimutaku ranges; on the south and west by the sea coast between Taorakira Head and the Waikanae river.
