Proclamation.
By His Honor William Fitzherbert, Esquire, C.M.G., Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, in the Colony of New Zealand,
I, WILLIAM FITZHERBERT, C.M.G., Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, in the Colony of New Zealand, by virtue of the powers conferred on me by "The Impounding Act, 1874," do hereby proclaim and appoint that the piece of enclosed land on the south-east boundary of the leasehold property of T. M. Drummond, surveyor, being part of section No. 153, situated in the Carnarvon Block, in the Manawatu District, in the Province of Wellington, shall be a Public Pound, to be called the "Awahuri Pound," for the purposes of "The Impounding Act, 1874."
Given under my hand and issued under the public seal of the Province of Wellington, at Wellington, this twenty-first day of February, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-six.

NOTICE has been received from the Inspector of Sheep for the Wairarapa and East Coast District that he has cancelled the Clean Certificate of MITCHELL & HIRSCHBERG, Tu Tu, Run flock, from 25th January, 1876.
