Amount recovered: £83 17s. 7d.

HEREBY give notice that by virtue
I of a writ of Fieri Facias, issued out
of the above Honourable Court and to me
directed, I have caused to be levied
upon all that piece of land being part of
section numbered 135, situate in the town
of Featherston, together with the appur-
tenancesthereunto belonging, the property
of the defendant having been taken in
execution at the suit of the execution
creditor herein; and that it is my inten-
tion to sell or cause to be sold the foresaid
piece of land by public auction,
at the Resident Magistrate’s Courthouse,
Featherston; on Saturday, the 11th day
of November, 1876, at 12 o’clock noon.
Dated this 21st day of October, 1876.

Legal Notice.

HEREBY give notice that under a
writ of fieri facias duly issued out of
the Supreme Court, at the suit of Chris-
topher Potts, of Tauherenikau, I have
taken in execution the equity of redemp-
tion of Cecil Augustus Curtis, of the City
of Wellington, Schoolmaster, in all that
parcel of land being part of section num-
bered 126 on the official map or plan of
the City of Wellington, commencing at
the north-western corner of the said sec-
tion and extending thence in an easterly
direction, and having a frontage on
Ingestre Street of 69 feet and 7 inches,
and extending back from Ingestre Street
aforesaid, in a southerly direction, a
distance of 84 feet, and forming a rect-
angular block; the western boundary
of which coincides with the western
boundary of the said section No. 126; and
that I intend to cause the same to be
sold at the auction rooms in Hunter
Street, in the City of Wellington, of Mr.
J. H. Wallace, on the 11th day of January,
1877, at 2 o’clock in the afternoon.
The Solicitor for the execution creditor
is Mr. F. M. Ollivier, of Featherston
Street, Wellington.

HEREBY give notice that under a
writ of fieri facias, duly issued out of
the Supreme Court at the suit of
William Cheeseman, of Manawatu aforesaid,
Draper, I have taken in execution the equity of re-
demption of George Newman Wood, of
Moturoa, in all that piece or
parcel of land situate in the Moturoa Block, in the
District of Wanganui, in the Province of
Wellington, containing by admeasurement
4 acres 2 roods 30 poles, being section
numbered 36 on the official
plan of subdivision of Manawatu aforesaid
at present in the Survey Office in the City
of Wellington, the same Province aforesaid,
bounded towards the north by a public road,
again on the east by a public road,
on the south by section numbered thirty-
seven on the plan aforesaid, a distance of
four thousand links; on the north-east by
a road, and again on the north by
Government reserve, a distance of 1500
links; on the north-west by the said
Government reserve, a distance of 850
links again on the north; on the west
by section thirty-five on the plan
aforesaid, a distance of 5000 links.
And I give notice that I intend to cause
the same land to be sold at Foxton, on
the 29th day of January, 1877, at two
'o clock in the afternoon.
The solicitor for the execution creditor
is Mr. Edward Stafford, of Lambton Quay,
Wellington.
