Notice.

I, HENRY JACKSON, Chairman of
the “Lower Hutt Local Board,” by
virtue of the powers conferred on me by
clause 16 of “The Local Boards Act,
1873,” do hereby appoint that a meeting
of persons qualified to vote for the
“Lower Hutt Local Board District,”
under the said Act, shall be held at the
Mechanics’ Institute, Lower Hutt, on
Thursday, the 10th day of February, 1876,
at 12 o’clock noon, for the purpose of
electing two persons to fill vacancies in
the Board of Commissioners for the said
District.

And further, I do hereby appoint
James M’Kenzie to be the Returning
Officer at such meeting for the election of
the two Commissioners as aforesaid.

Given under my hand, this 28th day
of January, 1876.
