Binding.
Office copies of Gazettes and Provincial Council Acts and Proceedings (only), half-bound, pie crust and lettered, as per sample ... at per vol.
Printing.
- Printing 450 copies of the Provincial Government Gazette, on approved printing paper, at per sheet, and inserting the same in one of the local newspapers, subject to the conditions to be seen at this office.
Printing Official Forms.
- Similar to those to be seen at this Office. Approved blue foolscap. Samples to be sent with tender.
If more than one price stated for each article, tender will be considered informal.
Further particulars with reference to the whole or any of the above-mentioned services may be obtained on application to this Office.
Each service must be tendered for separately, and the tender endorsed accordingly.
Where tenders are considered equal they will be decided by lot.
The whole of the supplies may be subjected to the inspection of and approved by an officer to be named by the Government for the purpose, and where not otherwise specified must be of the best quality.
In the event of any of the Contractors failing in the terms of their contract, the Government to be at liberty to procure the articles elsewhere, charging the increased price, if any, to said Contractors; but the Contractors not to receive benefit from any diminished price.
The Government or the Contractors will be at liberty to terminate any of the before-mentioned contracts by giving three monthsβ notice of their desire to do so; but in cases where the conditions of the contract are known to be evaded, or attempted to be evaded, the Government to be empowered to terminate the contract immediately, should they think fit.
The lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted.
