NOTICE.
HIS HONOR the SUPERINTENDENT has appointed meetings for the election of Wardens for the several Wards mentioned in the first column of the Schedule below, to be held at the times and places mentioned in the second and third columns of the said Schedule.
The gentlemen whose names are stated in the fourth column have been appointed as Presiding Officers for the respective meetings.

PROCLAMATION.
By His Honor William Fitzherbert, Esquire, C.M.G., Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, in the Colony of New Zealand.
WILLIAM FITZHERBERT, Superintendent of the Province of Wellington in the Colony of New Zealand, by virtue of the powers conferred upon me by the tenth section of "The Protection of Animals Act, 1873," do hereby proclaim and declare that the said Province of Wellington shall be open for all persons duly licensed under the said Act to hunt, shoot, take, or kill game within the said Province between the first day of June and the thirty-first day of July in the year 1875, both inclusive. And I do further proclaim and declare, by virtue of the power conferred upon me by the fourteenth section of the said Protection of Animals Act, that game shall not be hunted, shot, taken, or killed in that portion of the said Province of Wellington described in the Schedule hereto:—
Given under my hand, and issued under the Public Seal of the Province of Wellington, at Wellington, this sixteenth day of March, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-five.

SCHEDULE.
Bounded on the North by a line bearing about East from the source of the Waikanae river to the top of the Tararua range, and by the Waikanae river; on the East by the summit line of the Tararua and Rimutaka ranges; on the South and West by the Sea Coast between Taorakira Head and the Waikanae river.
PROCLAMATION.
By His Honor William Fitzherbert, Esquire, C.M.G., Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, in the Colony of New Zealand.
WHEREAS by the Land Regulations now in force in the Province of Wellington it is declared that all reserves for the sites of townships, or suburban lands for the sites of agricultural and small farm settlements, or for any other purpose of public advantage, safety, convenience, health, or enjoyment, shall be determined by the Superintendent, who shall notify the same by proclamation wherein the object shall be specified for which any reserve shall be made. And whereas it would be of public advantage if a certain section of land in the township of Carnarvon, in the Manawatu district, was set apart for a Signal Station:
Now therefore I, William Fitzherbert, Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, in virtue of the power and authority vested in me in this behalf do hereby proclaim and declare that Section No. 332 in the township of Carnarvon, in the Manawatu district, containing four hundred and seven acres, more or less, is hereby reserved and set apart for a Signal Station.
Given under my hand, and issued under the Public Seal of the Province of Wellington, at Wellington, this sixteenth day of March, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-five.
