Proclamation
By His Honor WILLIAM FITZHERBERT, Esq., C.M.G., Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, in the Colony of New Zealand.
WHEREAS by the 8th Section of โThe Wellington Waste Land Regulations Amendment Act 1871,โ the Superintendent of the Province of Wellington is empowered to withdraw from sale at any time by proclamation any Waste Lands of the Crown which it may appear expedient for public interest should be so withdrawn:
Now therefore I, William Fitzherbert, Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, in virtue of the powers vested in me by the above recited Act, do hereby withdraw from sale all the Waste Lands of the Crown situate and lying to the East of the public road now being constructed between the townships of Masterton and Alfredton and forming part of the Rangitumau Block in the Wairarapa District, and colored red on the plan in the margin hereof.
Given under my hand and issued under the public seal of the Province of Wellington, at Wellington, this eighth day of March, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-five.
