Executive Council of the said Province,
do hereby proclaim and declare that on
and after the first day of June, 1875, all
the parts of "The Highway Boards Empowering Act, 1871," numbered two, three,
four, five, six, and seven shall extend and
apply to all the Highway Districts constituted or proclaimed, or which may be
hereafter proclaimed under the Act of
the Provincial Council of Wellington,
shortly intituled "The Highways Act,
1874," and to the inhabitants, ratepayers,
and governing body of each such district.
Given under my hand, and issued
under the Public Seal of the Province of Wellington, at Wellington,
this twentieth day of May,
one thousand eight hundred and
seventy-five.

PROCLAMATION
By His Honor William Fitzherbert,
Esq., C.M.G., Superintendent of
the Province of Wellington in
the Colony of New Zealand.
WHEREAS by the 8th section of
"The Wellington Waste Lands
Regulations Amendment Act, 1871," the
Superintendent of the Province of Wel-
ington is empowered to withdraw from
sale at any time by proclamation, any
Waste Lands of the Crown which it may
appear expedient for public interests
shall be so withdrawn:
Now therefore I, William Fitzherbert,
Superintendent of the Province of Wel-
ington, in virtue of the powers vested in
me by the above recited Act, do hereby
withdraw from sale from this date, allot-
ments Nos. 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 35, and
38, in the Te Aro Pah Reserve, in the
City of Wellington.

this 20th day of May, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-
five.

Warrant
IN pursuance of the powers vested in me by "The Highways Act, 1874," I, William
Fitzherbert, Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, do hereby appoint that for
each of the Wards mentioned in the first column of the Schedule hereto, the voters qualified
to vote for the election of a Warden in such Ward shall meet at the time and place set
opposite the name of such Ward in the second and third columns of the same Schedule
respectively for the purpose of electing a Warden for such Ward: And I do hereby
appoint the persons whose names are stated in the fourth column of the same Schedule to
be respectively the Presiding Officers at the meetings to be held at the respective times
and places mentioned in the second and third columns of the said Schedule opposite the
names of the said persons respectively.
