I have the honor to forward the following Report of the Progress made in the Surveys of the Province during the financial year 1874-5.

There have been eighteen field surveyors borne on the strength of the staff during the year; thirteen of this number have been constantly employed in the field, whilst the remainder were employed on office duties, bringing up the arrears of plots of work returned for the preceding year.
